The Bel Air Bobcats of Harford County came to Edgewater with the identical undefeated record as the South River Seahawks. The game was hard fought with the majority of the play on the Bel Air side of the field. South River was able to get the best scoring opportunities in the first half but were unable to get a score outshooting the Bobcats five to three. Bel Air started the second half strong and managed to get past the Seahawks defense to cross a ball into the goal box. A hard shot was stopped by South River keeper, Colleen Wagner, but the rebound went straight to a Bobcats player who was able to tip it into the goal for a 1-0 Bel Air lead. South River fought back hard with several scoring opportunities which were either stopped by the Bel Air keeper or sailed high or wide of the goal. Although outshooting the Bobcats 11-6, South River was unable to get a goal and were handed their first loss of the season 1-0. The six shots by Bel Air equaled the total allowed by the South River defense in the previous seven games combined.
